Going viral: The Simpsons Couch Gag with iPhone

In the past days, this video has started going viral.

It’s the familiar Simpsons couch gag, this time involving an iPhone (there’s an app for that!).

Over the time, the Simpsons have had bits from the show gone viral: there can be debate whether they remain good, but after all these seasons they still remain to produce great pieces like this one, and they still have a huge legion of fans who support them. They have been around for more than 20 years, spanned more than one generation of people, and the ammount of merchandising they have is crazy.

In the last episode airead, this was what the couch gag was the following:

It got close to 300.000 views in 2 days, the number is definetively higher since there are several sources of the video out there.

Another couch gag gone viral was one that depicted Homer’s evolution, and had close to 9 million views over the course of a year and a half:

And with +17 million views the Simpsons had a real-life intro, made by a british TV channel. It was removed from Youtube some time ago, but is on other sources, so check it out if you didn’t already:
